Devotional– This is those who have not opened their bible all week, or had much prayer. Their worship is in the corporate body and the open the bible to get to the text. This is seen in those who want to be out by 12:00. Devotionals are quick fixes for our day or week.
Educational– I come to be taught a lesson. Education is funny in this regards, people only take what they feel is beneficial to them. Algebra will not be necessary for later.
Motivational– I come so you can inspire me to get beyond what I’m fighting. I want you to make me feel good. It’s been a rough week and I need you to provoke me. These are those that minimize corporate service.
Recreational– I’m here because of my friends and relationships that I have.
Revelation– This is where we are built! Knowledge in itself does not bring transformation. Illuminated information is revelation.
Human experiences need a speaking spirit.
Open the Door- Revelation 3:20 (KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Taking the Lead: From the Inside Out- We must use what’s been loosed on the inside of us to bind what’s on the outside. We are spirit beings with human experiences. We are often times using our human reasoning instead of our Kingdom weaponry.
